FAQ

What is Waboba?

Waboba is famously known as the world’s first ball that bounces on water. Nowadays we have various innovative, game-changing outdoor toys, sporting goods, and accessories for both water and land.

How does a Waboba ball bounce on water? We’d explain, but we had a professor study the physics of a Waboba ball at BYU, and he deserves a round of applause for his research. Watch the video here.

Why invent a ball that bounces on water?

Unlike other beach/pool toys, we wanted to create an item that would use the surface of water for play, so people could stay cool and have endless fun all summer long.

How do I bounce my Waboba ball on the water?

Have no fear! All our water balls are guaranteed to bounce on water. Spread out and throw like you’re skipping a rock - the harder you throw, the better it will bounce. Then, experiment with different throwing angles to bounce the ball higher or lower on the water.

Do the water balls sink?

No! That would be a huge buzzkill. All Waboba balls float, as well as our accessories, Cracket and Lacrosse.

What are the best Wabobas for kids?

Surf, ZOObers, Blast, Big Kahuna, and Skippers are all great for kids 6+.

What is the difference between all the balls?

We have various balls for different ages, environments, adventures, and skill levels. Check out our Shop to see the differences between the balls that bounce on water, and for our balls that bounce on land.

Does Waboba have any balls for dogs?

Of course! There’s the Waboba Fetch for water. Our hairy canine companions also love the super durable Moon ball for land.

Is the Fetch safe for dogs?

Yes, it is safe and non-toxic. Dogs of all sizes from Rhodesian Ridgebacks to Labradors to Chihuahuas have enjoyed playing Waboba Fetch with their humans.

Note: The Waboba Fetch is a water-retrieval toy, not a chew toy. For supervised play only. Know your dog and choose the appropriate size and type of toy to prevent choking or other harm. Inspect this toy regularly; if toy is damaged or if parts become separated, remove toy and parts as injury may result.
